What is the registration process?
On Sunday, 26 March 2017, one representative is required to pick up the team’s pack at the registration counter. The registration counter will be opened from 9:00 am onwards and the Ramp Run will start at 10:00 am sharp (Individual Race). Runners shall collect their running bibs from the registration counter on that day, to avoid delays and crowding, you are advised to arrive early. The organizer will NOT re-issue the number badges as they are unique and non-replaceable. Any runners who do not wear their number badge on the day of the event can still participate at the charity run but will not qualify to win any awards.
Will there be any storage where I can leave my personal belongings during the race?
There is a temporary storage area at the registration desk, runners can drop off their bags with the baggage tag provided (the baggage tag is coordinated with each runner’s number badge). Please take note that the organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage to the personal belongings brought to the ramp run. After the ramp run, runners need to claim back their bags at the registration desk with their own number badge.
Is there a dress code for the race?
The Best Dressed competition is as renowned as the Magic Mile itself! Over the past years we have had numerous movie characters, superheroes and a number tutus! The 6th Goodman Interlink Magic Mile is no exception, and we are encouraging teams and individuals to dig deep into your dress up boxes and come up with the best costume to impress the judges! The only thing we do ask is that you wear a pair of suitable running shoes for comfort and safety.
How to win the races?
The total distance is about 3.2 kilometre, runners have to race up, make an U-turn and down the ramp in the shortest time. Only one winner for each gender.
The total distance is about 1.6 kilometre, the ending line is on the 15 floor of the ramp. A team of four is required to qualify for the race. The winning team depends on the total time used to finish the race.
